Remains

I was going to take a picture of this plate full of lovely caramelised oranges, but they got eaten. This is all that is left. We had a great family dinner for 12, this was one of the pudding components. The plate is one of my favourites, it was given to me by someone I never met, who stayed in my house in Tanzania one Christmas when I was home in the UK. It traveled all the way from Sweden to Tanzania and back to Shetland without damage. I like to use it, but worry about it getting broken.

So that's it, the first day safely over with. I always feel relieved when we get to this point. Another whole year before we have to do it all again.
