Dymaxium Map

The clerk at a nearby seconds clothing store sports this tattoo. Designed by R. Buckminster Fuller where "a projection of a world map onto the surface of an icosahedron, can be unfolded and flattened to two dimensions. The flat map is heavily interrupted in order to preserve shapes and sizes." I like how there are no distortions; no right way up.
