Cumbrian Idyll

This is a scene near the village of New Hutton, a few miles east of Kendal.  I couldn't resist the colours so failed to wait for livestock to populate view.

We're here for a couple of nights and thank the Lord that it will be a little cooler tomorrow, obviating the further need to rinse out my limited supply of travel clothes.

The extra shot is of farm buildings near here; it was old but still completely functional; delightful!
