Meadow Brown

We decided on a trip to Cawthorne Camps for a dog walk this afternoon. Work is currently been undertaken to divert some of the paths to protect the embankments which delineate the edge of the Roman Camps.

Lots of butterflies flitting about but not many were prepared to land. Just managed to capture this Meadow Brown before it moved on.

Still feeling very warm this evening hope I can cool sufficiently to go to sleep! Youngest son tells me he is enjoying a cool 34 degrees in Vietnam...I am roasting at 28 degrees.
