The Usual Suspects

Dear Diary,

It is a whopping 20 degrees cooler this morning, 55 F.  HOORAY!  We got some much needed rain too.  The cooler temperatures have brought out the usual suspects which have been missing during the heatwave.  Rudy, Whiskers, Horatio and Short Tail all made an appearance so I created "critter collage".  So nice to see them scampering and hopping about the yard again.

I was awoken at 3am when a big branch landed on the roof right outside by bedroom window.  Darn Locust trees do like to drop a branch from time to time.  Good thing Matt is coming this morning so he can get it off.
