Mono-Monday: SPLASH!

Dear Diary,

Finally, we are getting some decent rain.  It is such a relief.  This is the top of my grill cover and I thought it would make a good image of the much needed rain especially the tiny heart in the middle, can you see it?  It was very cool yesterday, no porch sitting for Emerson or me.  That's fine, we still were able to spend a very busy day doing nothing.

Well, I guess "nothing" is a relevant word.  I did read, do a bit of laundry and worked on a small drawing but all in all it was a very quiet, laid back rainy day.  Just perfect.  I haven't been able to say that for a long time.
