Celebrations

I've never been a big fan of Hogmanay, or the celebration of New Year. Always leaves me a bit grumpy (like anyone would notice the difference!), and makes me a we bit blue. Having said that, this year is the first in a while that I've felt I needed to pull my socks up and change my approach to, well, just about everything. I've been a wee bit absent from myself and, probably worst of all, my family for the past couple of years and if I don't make an effort to change it soon, things will be decidedly less peachy for me in the future. So, with any luck, by this time next year, I won't look back on my year and think my achievements have been tainted by this wee black cloud. Never made a resolution before, haven't really seen the point. I do now though. Here's to the next year.
