In the yard

The butterflies (maybe a spicebush swallowtail) were all over the flowers along the fence at #1 son’s yard in North Carolina. I had to ride my knee scooter on the dirt driveway to get a few photos. Since this was the scene of the accident where I broke my ankle I was extra careful!  

Today was Tate’s  45th birthday.  I just had to go spend some time with him!  We had cake and ice cream!  

The drive up and back was 8 hours but so worth it.  We decided not to spend the night so we would not have to deal with Monday morning traffic!  A good day anyway!

AND ...my ankle is letting me know I was up too much today!
