Oops!

With a lot going on this week, I was a few days late with my pet corn snake Raoul’s fortnightly feed. He was clearly very hungry, because when I went to put his mouse meal into the vivarium, he lunged at it so enthusiastically that he bit my hand!
Corn snakes are non-venomous and usually docile, and in the five years I’ve had him, this was the first time it’s happened.
I’ll be sure to feed him on time in future!
