Summer Alpine Scene

There is a profusion of flowers above Roc d'Orsay at the moment, the cows aren't yet up there. Only one female bouquetin (extra) was on the steep ridges away from the normal footpath. They are probably staying on the north side of the mountain, in the shade, as we are having a heatwave. My ankle was not happy walking on the side of my foot so I must rest it longer sadly.

Hope you had a good weekend, we did. Our immediate neighbours just left having come over for a drink and to see some of my African photos. It was lovely to see them.
