Striking Silver

Enjoyed a walk in the morning sunshine to blow away the cobwebs and loved the look of these silver birch trees.

Great to see the New Year in with good friends and their families last night. Thank you Sandra for providing all the food for the "children" (most of whom are taller than any of us mums), and to Kate - our fridge is groaning with delicious leftovers :-)

Lazy dog walking, telly watching, doing a bit of ironing sort of day. Just as it should be.
