Bouncing

Rain bouncing off the car in the first of the heavy showers of the day. Wasn’t sure about another day on the site so I went food shopping, hoping to find things that the French hadn’t slipped ‘just a little bit of meat into’ (very suspicious of those noodles last night). Back had eased off, lots of good sleep, and then I found that I had a slot on the test circuit that Peugeot Citroen have had at the Chateau since the 1930’s and that was brilliant. Gave a lift to a Frenchman with a modern car (it was classics only) and then off around 19km of forest track, with section representing various road surfaces including pave and motorway. Great fun. Bit of chat about Brexit later, lots of chat all round, more tent repairs and dinner in amongst thundery showers. At least there were some rainbows. All very enjoyable, but looking forward to a proper bed on Monday at my aunts.
