Bib Birthday Blip Bargain-3 for the price of1

3650 blips not out and no passes probably qualifies me as someone needing some psychiatric treatment. Certainly there are times when it would be more prudent to relax and forget about searching for that elusive blip rather than obsessively going through hoops to find something to photograph.

Having said that, and looking back over the last 10 years, I am so glad to have been a part of this Blipfoto group of people who buck the trend of internet nastiness and instead are on the whole kind and tolerant. I have made friends real and virtual who have supported me, especially recently when the going was tough and I would like to thank them all. They know who they are.

We were up and out early this morning to watch the riders leave Kelso town square to ride the marches to Yetholm and back -quite a distance especially for the younger riders.
There is something about the sound of hundreds of horses hooves ringing on the cobbles that raises the hairs on the back of my neck.

We noticed the pipers in the blip returning from performing at some other vantage point as we went for a walk by the river. There was a gypsy caravan parked on the grass with the horse tethered nearby which provided the third blip. Just when you need only one blip, three come along together.
