East Biggins

What a beautiful day.  The sun has been shining all day, and lovely warm breeze too.  Clouded over now at night, but still a beautiful sunset.  Thunder and lightning due overnight. 

Woke up to a beautiful start to my holiday.  I've taken a week off work, but staying home about.  Most of the day has been puttering around the house, and also packing up the car, before heading to Papa Stour for the weekend.  Caught the ferry at West Burrafirth at 6pm this evening.  

Some much needed relaxing and exploring for the start of my holiday.  Arrived to the accommodation this evening, and soon settled in.  Been out for a stroll with Sammy around the roads, and now feet up by the fire.  I've even taken my out peats to burn.  The plan was to go camping, but with the thunder due, I managed to get this peerie croft house instead.  It's lovely and cosy inside, perfect for the weekend.  The East Biggins (East Toon) croft house, Papa Stour.
