Cooking up a Storm

Today was all about food! Despite finding it hard to get out bed post-New Years celebrations, I'm really glad I booked into to Green Bamboo Cooking School in Hoi An. Our chef Van was so lovely and the food was quite simply the best I have had thus far in Vietnam.

Dishes included:
Fresh spring rolls
Pho bo
Vietnamese vegetable curry
Vietnamese pancakes
Lao Cao
Pork and Fish hotpot
Crumbed eggplant cakes
Vermicilli, tofu, pineapple and leek stir fry (my dish)
Pork skewers

Needless to say we were stuffed to the gills when we left :-) I then headed off to the beach for a quick fix, as the sun had miraculously come out this afternoon and now my holiday has come to an end as I sit in Da Nang airport waiting for my flight.
