Reel Cleaning.
This reel caught us our dinner yesterday but in the course of events it took a dunk in the salt water. So tonight I gave it a quick wash and clean. Tomorrow I will reassemble when it is dry...If I can remember how it goes back together that is.
Today has been another hot one. That and a big day of concentration at college left me knackered when I got home. I lay down for a quick 5 minutes and woke up an hour later. It still took a while for me to feel human again.
I took Jassie for a walk and she had her biggest panic attack to date. Two kids were playing ball on the street and Jassie went berserk with fear, thrashig about on her lead and trying to get away. Our training approach with Jassie is not to reinforce her fears so I waited her out and then tried to carry on with the walk. She cracked it again. This went on for a couple of minutes. I didn't say a word although I must admit I was feeling quite frustrated. Eventually I managed to get her walking and from then on she was quite good. Jo is looking into either some medication to calm her anxiety or a personal trainer. Probably a combination of both. Jassie needs to unlearn her fears which to some extent mirror Dad's, having lived with him for 4 years. We are going to wait till we get back from our New Zealand holiday before we do anything major with her.
I have also discovered an interesting thing with my camera. Maybe someone knows something about this. My little Canon compact claims to be 7 megapixel but since I have had it I have found the image quality pretty average. Not as good as my original 3 megapixel camera. Yesterday I changed the resolution on the camera back to 3.2 megapixel and presto, the image quality improves. My theory is that the camera isn't really 7 megapixel, it just has some software in it to interpolate the captured images. Pretty pissy really. Then again, I don't normally print my images so 3 megapixel is more than enough.
