Himba ladies

Today we shopped in Swakomund and visited the same German bakery twice. Swakomund has many Germanic buildings due to South West Africa previously being a German colony.

We had fun bartering for Namibian crafts, especially with the Himba ladies shown in the photo. They spoke some English and told us about their hair braiding, which is done using coloured mud.
