Harris and Lewis

Today was the day - we had to face the Clisham! I was determined not to be pig-headed about it, also because I am with F. and I know how competitive she can be. So, on the steepest part of the climb with headwind, We got off our bikes and walked a little, not for long but enough to catch our breath. To be honest, it was not as bad as I expected and we were soon in Lewis.
Our bed for the night was in a nice social enterprise hostel in Ravenspoint - on the bird of prey trail. We were rather hoping to see. Golden Eagle at some point but no such luck - I ‘ll just have to come back!
