If you go down to the woods today....

We have agreed to plan an Orienteering event later in the year. We had a trip to the wood today and encountered the dreaded Piri-Piri Burr which is also found on Lindisfarne. Our boots were covered in the burrs and we had to keep stopping to de burr Jet. On the plus side good land management has led to a reduction in bracken.

Fortunately it is a very good area for Orienteering and we came away enthused with what we can plan for competitors.

I quite liked this pile of wood against the sky.

We caught up with Thomas who is travelling in Vietnam. He is really enjoying exploring the coast and has met up with a good group of fellow travellers. Which puts my mind at rest. His photos of a lantern festival we’re fantastic.
