Meadow Brown

Decided on a long walk from the house today. A detour was required to avoid a field of cows. We crossed the Whitby road and noticed how much busier the road is. During lockdown it was deserted!

More butterflies seen today than for a long time. This meadow Brown certainly enjoyed a pit stop on this thistle. Couldn’t resist the extra of a juvenile Robin.

Returned home via Howl Dale which was deserted. The cuppa at the end was rather welcome! Have a good weekend everyone.
