Goodbye 2012!

We spent New Year's Eve in Hamner Springs a little alpine village an hour and a half from Christchurch. Its a popular spot with a wonderful set of thermal pools and a spa. If you are planning a trip to the South Island of NZ, its a good place to spend a few days.

The weather was too warm for the pools we thought and also the place was humming with people. We relaxed with our friends. This is the view from the place they were renting for the week.
