Banded Demoiselle

I took some bottles and boxes to the tip this morning and called in to the studio, which is just around the corner, to do a few jobs for Mrs madwill.

There I was alarmed (but amused) to see the toilet paper available  - see extra.

Then to Tadcaster to take some stuff to a charity shop and get a few bits from the supermarket. I wandered along the river and near the weir there were dozens of these banded demoiselles flying around. I couldn’t get very close as the vegetation was in the water, so it is a bit of a crop.

Back home and my afternoon was / will be spent cutting out fabric plant pots!
