More beaches. Walked down to our ‘local’ beach at Church Bay. The walk started off okay but then the path became so overgrown by nettles, thistles and brambles that we had to climb into the next field and just try to follow the route to the next portion. We were clearly not the first to do this because people had bent the barbed wire to make a crossing. Section 2 went okay but then the third section took us through a field containing a bull. That’s not a good idea any time, but especially not with a dog. So we had to abandon and trudge down the road. Really will have to stick to the coastal path in future - that seems to be well walked and maintained.
Church Bay was lovely through and the dog had a great time in the sea, as did the kids.
