Another day out

Today Ann's friend, Fiona, (who has been staying with us) went home. We took her to Newquay Airport. And a journey that should take about 50mins took about 70mins?!! Not good when one has a plane to catch. Honestly, where have all these people come from??? Cornwall is extremely busy just now and the English schools still haven't broken up so just where are all these people coming from? They can't all be Scottish??!!

Anyway, after we dropped Fiona at the airport, we went up to Padstow for a bit of a moochie around. It was pretty busy there too but at least I managed a bit of a run about on this grass. And then we went to Newquay, but the tide was in so I didn't even get a play on the beach. I just had to trek around on my lead.

Got home about 4.45pm and because I hadn't been to the toilet since 8.30 this morning yes, Ann's still obsessed with my toileting habits, my very lovely owner, Ann, took me into the field next door to our house to see if I wanted to go. I didn't!  That meant I got an extra little walk at 6.30pm because Ann wanted to go out and she didn't want to leave me in my crate having not been to the toilet for 10 hours?!!!

…............I'm 8 months old. WHY do I not understand that I have to go to the toilet every time I go for a walk???????????????????????

Fortunately I 'performed' so Ann felt happy leaving me 'home alone' for an hour an a half while she nipped into town to buy a new handbag and have a glass of wine.

….........And now I'm happily playing with my squeaky crocodile that Fiona gave me.

PS - When we got home our wifi wasn't working.  'Techie' Ann did all the normal things, ie switching it on & off and re-setting the router, but could we get wifi…………………… We could not.  After a very frustrating 4 hours we phoned the PO and guess what?...………………….. Some 'remote' person told us it had gone off between 4.30-5pm, they did some kind of 're-setting' thing and it all seems to be up and running again.  Yay!

..............Oh and the other thing...…………………  Our £19.99 per month unlimited wifi on an 18 month contract came to an end last month and the Post Office wanted to charge us more than £30 per month from July.  Obviously Ann phoned them to complain and guess what?...…………… we're now only paying £15 something a month.  Yay!
