Cactus in the window

After a quick trip to the market, I sent an email to the British Embassy to see if they would like to send a representative to the Entente Cordiale celebrations.  With the jobs mostly finished, I enjoyed a shady spot to read my book.  The Nine Taylors seems an appropriate novel to start on at the moment.
