Now identified!
Sunday 14th July 2019 (backblip)
Not feeling too good today ..... so after a few bits of shopping we decided to have a slow wander up to Pioneer & Beech Wood
There was lots of fluttering going on ....... we saw (as well as those blipped) Skippers, Small Tortoiseshell & Gatekeeper butterflies ...... a Siskin .... first one we've seen here ....... watched dragonflies skimming the pond ...... all in all a lovely walk :-)
We saw several of the moth in the top images (I have included 2 different angles) ..... it had red underwings ...... hope somebody in Blipland can identify it for me please :-)
Update: Thanks for the identification ....... it is a Six-spot Burnet moth :-)
Also blipped: is a Ringlet butterfly & soldier beetles busy creating the next generation .... hope you like them :-)
