A day of two halves!

A lovely start to the day ....... there were several new Sparrow fledglings in the garden (Extra) & some Starling fledglings too .... the poor parents were being kept very busy feeding them all :-)

The Lavender was alive with bees & hoverflies ....... including this Banded White-tailed Bumblebee :-)

However things took a turn for the worse this afternoon ...... the skies opened ....... it was a real deluge as can be seen from the bottom image!

Had a bad night with Mum ..... nothing actually wrong .... but we had several phone calls in the 'early hours' ...... my sister went round at 6am & got her to go to bed! I'm pleased to say after a few hours sleep she is feeling chirpy & busy sorting things! Wish I could say the same for me! zzzzzzzzz
