To the pool for a loosen up and as the breeze stiffened and the sun rose in direct proportion to the temperature, we hit the beach at the bottom of the road.
Some lasted longer than others. G was gone without setting a toe in the water, miffed at the wind keeping the paddle boats roped up on the beach.
So whilst She chummed G back, the rest of us set about bobbing about in the nice sized waves that rocked us up and down in fine fashion.
After a while she returned whilst Alex decided to bale out and join G at the apartment; so I chummed him back and then Tom and I went to establish where our boat trip goes next week. Then sauntered back along the shoreline find She was still bouncing about in the waves; entranced by the spray and sun.
It was a salt laden troupe that trooped back in the early evening for showers ahead of pork chops and potatoes and veg and a cold beer for the chef.
As nice a beach as I've been on in a while; one to revist every day of our stay, I hope
