A morning of rounding up shorts, t  shirts and flip flops. Which was good cos it was damp first thing. And the disposal of Spartans v Liverpool tickets to one of Tom's mates.

After lunch it brightened and off to Craigleith for a football for a fiver from Nike. And on into Stockbridge to tot up all the pennies and tuppances and other stray bits of change £11. So there's a holiday ice cream fund for the boys to work with.

Finally after dropping Tom at the playing fields - the library. I *will* get Tom to read a book this summer.

Home; and they went off to see their visiting Uncle at Hers for the evening; I went into town to grab some stuff She wants me to transport and home in a light drizzle to coincide with the lads walking down the hill (the blip) and in for baths and Love Island.
