Angle shades moth

A really lovely day gardening. I do like weeding!

I was pleased to see this attractive moth, less so the dozens of flies which plagued me as I worked.

In the end I put on the midge net: a scary sight for passers by. And of course as soon as I put it on there WERE passers by! Still, the first group included 2 familiar faces - dancers out for a ramble. It was lovely to see them in our neck of the woods, and they paused to chat for a while before heading to the beach for a picnic lunch.

Unfortunately this happy day came to an abrupt end at 4.30pm when my inner ear dizziness dramatically reappeared. I shakily made it home and straight to bed.

No dancing for me tonight!
