Feverfew Thursday

As well as being taken to cure fevers, Feverfew had many other medicinal uses including to ease headaches and in the treatment of 'feminine complaints'. I've certainly complained less since encouraging it into my garden.

Nipped over to Shapinsay today for work.

There was just time to sample a cake in the cafe, have a quick look at the heritage centre, read 2 meters, then back on the next ferry.The cafe and old documents and photos definitely deserve a longer visit next time.

The ferry journey was useful for catching up on back blips.
