I'm in no rush!!

Today I did some more work at mine, finally got to trim one of the hedges having waited for any nesting birds to be clear. I also planted the creeping thyme and Corsican mint into my steps and potted up 2 geranium cuttings into old terracotta pots.

Recently on Gardeners World there was a Hosta nursery featured and they spoke about garlic spray being very successful in deterring slugs so I made some of that for both of us.

I met RF at the city mill after her volunteering session and we looked around the market stalls (I couldn't resist an echinacea!) 

When we got back to hers she rescued the butterfly pictured from the conservatory and, having just washed her hands, it spent ages drinking the moisture from her finger. 

If you look closely you can see it's coiled proboscis.
