Where the sacred meets art

I went down to the ICE Building this morning and photographed the altar, still standing. I posted on Facebook this invitation:

Where the sacred meets art,
Where prayer meets the moral will to block harm.
Join me there.

(I just added an Extra of the altar in context with the ICE Building. The children in the photos below the top level of the altar are the faces of children who have died in ICE custody. The father and daughter on the top level of the altar died by drowning in the Rio Grande. We cannot count the number of people who have died either in migration or at the hands of the Border Patrol and ICE, but we know the number is in the tens of thousands. We cannot imagine the suffering.)
