Oh Dear

An absolutely dreadful day at the quilt show...visitor numbers were woeful and we hardly sold anything. The organisers blamed the good weather, tennis, cricket and motor racing for keeping people away. We blame the lack of advertising! Probably spent our profit on bacon sandwiches and cakes :-)

As you can see I even had time to wander around the beautiful village of Elvington and take some photos and a even process them on my iPad and upload to Blip.

Found this peeling paint on a door in a wall on a path behind the church. Derelict Sunday sorted (thanks to 60plus for hosting). Also blipped in extras are a lovely gate at the end of the path that leads up to the church, as well as the church itself which has a rather unusual tower.
