Surprise outing

HtP was working today so I’ve done some chores in the house and have weeded the garden.

After he’d finished he came round to take us on a surprise outing.

We went to Bursledon, a village on the river Hamble. We walked along the shore and the main image is the old wreck in the water.

We then picked up Fish and chips and drove to the beach at Meon which overlooks the Isle of Wight and the estuary into Southampton.

Murphy and Willis rushed up and down on the beach with Murphy barking at the waves.

As we ate the sky turned the gorgeous colour in the extras. Both the boys went for a swim and are now sound asleep.

I’m waiting for the sourdough to cook and then I can go to sleep too.
