The First and The Last

After three years of planting and failing, at last, I have a passion flower. The very first bloom opened today
And following the heavy rain, the peonies are history. I cut them down, and these two were the very last of this years blooms. So beautiful, but so shortlived

Took some more flyers round for next weekend's Marie Curie  charity do.  Walked up to Belleville, about a mile and a half and posted them. Just one property which I couldn't target. Just couldn't find the way in!
Managed to get back home just before the heavens opened again.
Now sat doing my crochet for the county show in 3 weeks time. I have 18 entries - need to get a move on!
