Traditional West Tour Madeira
We were up early this morning to start our adventure. We were collected from our hotel just before nine and our first stop was C de Lobes, a lovely fishing village made famous by Winston Churchill who stayed here and painted.
Then we stopped at Cabo Giraeo the second highest sea cliff in the world and the the highest in Europe. It was nerve wrecking standing on a glass platform.
We stopped for lunch at Porta Moniz famous for its natural lava rock swimming pools but it started to rain.
We stopped at a few more places but the clouds were here so we couldn’t see the magnificent views across the island.
But we have enjoyed our day.
Lots of extras from the day.
