Honda Civic 01

This is the first Honda Civic made in New Zealand back in 1972. Their popularity soared a year later when the oil crisis hit and people wanted fuel efficient cars.

It's a great colour too :-)

I fondly remember the beige one my auntie had from new. It was very cool.

Before Honda bought it this little Civic belonged to one woman since new and had done around 60,000kms.

I spotted it while waiting in the showroom while a mechanic swapped over my tyre with the repaired puncture. What fabulous service I received.
