Elise at da Eela

A fine enough day, but overcast and cloudy.  A peerie bit of sunshine this evening.  Fairly calm all day.

I've been working in the museum all day.  No cruise ships, and with the fine day, we've been fairly quiet.  There was a few events on for the Nature Festival, and had a couple of mini rushes.  Niece Elise came over for tea, and staying for the night.  Mam and dad popped by too.

The Ian Umphray Memorial eela was on tonight, and Elise was wanting to go.  We were catching mackerel and sillocks, and caught a good few.  My total was 35.9lbs, and Elise caught 27.2lbs.  I was champion of the boat, and 5th overall.  Elise came 1st for the junior section.  She fairly enjoyed her night out on the sea.  Here's Elise with her catch of sillocks.  Taken just south of North Havera.
