Afternoon Tea in da Gairden
A breezy day, but calmer tonight. It's been mostly cloudy, but the sun has been shining through most of the day. Cloudy this evening. A fine warm day too.
I've had the day off work, and mam came by this morning. We had planned to head out on the boat with uncle Michael, but June wasn't well, so it's been a day tidying up the garden, and finally got the rest of my bedding plants sorted. I picked up my car from the garage. It passed the MOT, and not one advisory marked, hurrah. More walkies with Sammy this evening, and now my feet are up for the night.
After coming home from the garage, I was unaware of people lurking in the garden! To my surprise, friends had popped by, so I got the kettle on. Just typical, once I came out with the teapot, the sun disappeared. It didn't put us off, and we enjoyed afternoon teas outside. There hasn't been many opportunities to spend time outdoors this summer. L-R - Julie, Shannon and peerie Brian. Taken at home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
