The Lick-Down

Laura Earle gave herself a good lick-down, ending with the tip of her tail. Was she doing this for the sake of personal hygiene, or just to cheer me up?

I am still sick with a very bad cold, and I never left the house; hardly left my bed today. Lately I have moments when I think the worst is over, but it will take some time before I feel normal again.
