Panel 38 - Border Reivers at 30th December

The helmet on the right is half done and the one on the left not started. The helmets are a lot of work, but we're optimistic that we can get this top two thirds of our panel complete by the end of January or not long after. Kinmont Willie, who is being rescued from Carlisle Castle, was an Armstrong. Their most famous descendant is Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon, so it's our intention to mark this by adding a moon, probably in the top right hand corner, especially appropriate as the Reivers rode in the winter months, and often by night.
