Ridiculously comfy
If you've been wondering what Whisky has been up to this festive season, here's a big clue. It's been quite restful.
For Fred's birthday, we booked ourselves an afternoon treat - The Hobbit with our friend Lisa at the premier screen at Leicester Square at the 3D 48fps (frames per second) rate. We've already seen it in 3D at 24fps and were curious to experience the difference. It was incredible - 3D to the point where you felt you could step into the hobbit house. You could see every hair, every crease of paper... amazing. My one criticism is that it's perhaps too detailed and your eyes are caught by people of objects that perhaps aren't key to the scene. However, it's a small criticism. The 48fps was particularly amazing on the dragon scenes, the riddles in the dark with Gollum, and Radagast's Rastabell Rabbits. I'm definitely going to re-read the book now, but which edition... I think it has to be the Alan Lee version.
