Lazy boxing day bbq

Everyone is tired, and still rather full from christmas celebrations. Ben put a few sausages on the BBQ and I sent the girls down to the veggie patch to collect some things for a salad. They all love to harvest the veggie patch, they run down there with their little buckets and collect what ever is ripe. They came back with it overflowing with lettuce, spring onions, and cucumbers and snow peas, not many of these make it back as they nipple on them down at the patch. We are still waiting on our tomatoes to ripen,there is plenty of green ones. The strawberries never make it inside either, just straight into tiny little mouths, it is like finding a great treasure they yell out MUM look I found a big juicy one.
