To Arezzo

I was up early doing a little watering with cans and tying in tomato and cucumber plants.

Later the Boss and I headed to Arezzo 42 km away to the big monthly outdoor furniture sale. Rather to our surprise we came away with a beautiful 19th century Lombardian wardrobe.

Beautifully made of walnut wood it also comes apart to allow it to be moved.

Later that day the sellers arrived and assembled the piece in our bedroom. It looks brilliant.

They do markets across northern Italy and reckon to travel 300,000 km a year. The July market is the last one of the year and we payed a fair price as the guy was fed up carting the thing around and assembling and disassembling it.

It comes from Lecco on Lake Como where a certain Clooney has a house.
