Ricky Has Left Us

For the last few years we worked at the post office, Shelley (Naturelover) and I (with another carrier Sue) took a morning break with Ricky. 3 city carriers and Rick, a rural carrier.

Rick more than held his own as a rural carrier,  but he ended up having several different health issues, and struggled in his later years. 

To her credit, with no family in the picture, Sue became Rick's caretaker, and "nursed" him through many ordeals. 

I'll choose to remember Rick in some of his goofier moments, and in the the golf and bowling outings that we used to have on postal holidays.

May he rest in peace.
