Gillingham Reach from the Strand
Just a quick entry today as it's been a full on day and I'm posting this at 00.45am after everyone has either gone home or gone to bed.
After much deliberation and indecision it was a trip down memory lane for our friends and Doreen. There were lots of places to go to on offer but they plumped for a tour of old haunts in Gillingham: Sturdee Avenue and Toronto Road.
From there we went down to the Gillingham Strand to walk along the seashore and then on to Riverside Park for a cup of tea. I think people enjoyed themselves but was hardly the most scenic that Kent (or Medway) has to offer. Fascinating all the same
