Now I know how he felt - not the hunchback bit but the frustration at the lack of water bit I hasten to add. 
Every evening for the last few, we have been forecast a thunderstorm and goodness we need the rain. Every evening the clouds built up and the thunder starts to rumble around. And every evening it then decides not to rain. all quite frustrating.
Nearly as frustrating as booking an appointment to repair the air-con in our car, to leave it there for an hour and a half and come back to be told they can't do it as there is something odd about the placement of the inlet pipe. All very handy.
At least it got us out to the shops.
