Home day for me

I had a refreshingly rainy walk around Clumber lake this morning with Alison and the dogs. Food shopping in the afternoon , then Alison came round in the evening and cooked 6 dishes to see us through the week. What a star!
We have been solucky that so many people have put themselves out to help us during this difficult time. My cousin Sue has been a constant support, bringing packages with food and essentials, bringing home made soup up to the hospital, and just being there to chat to.
Yesterday another friend and neighbour, Katherine dropped round a roast dinner for the 5 of us. We all wolfed it down as it was the first roast dinner we've had for about 2 months.
Denise brought round a fantastic hamper full of goodies from her and her sister before Christmas which we are still munching our way through.
Another friend came round with her husband before Christmas and spent several hours cleaning our house!
My friend Lorna has been looking after Teddy which has been great as I know is he is happy and being well looked after.
People are constantly sending supportive messages and offering to help in any way they can.
I am also really grateful to Rafi's friends parents who bring them to the hospital regularly which means the world us and also to Rafi I'm sure.
A big THANK YOU to all our fantastic family and friends ( I will mention more in other blips!)
Thanks to support worker Lily for taking the picture of Rafi and his Dad and sisters while I was away.
