Sunshine at last!

A day with only a sprinkling of rain and several hours of sunshine.

At last we could take a walk and enjoy the beautiful Cotswold countryside. We opted on an 8 mile circular walk starting from our B&B in Stow on the Wold and wandering through half a dozen beautiful villages such as Upper Swell, Maugersbury and Donnington.

This is the beautiful Donnington brewery which has its own mill stream, duck pond and wildfowl collection.

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments, faves and stars yesterday. The secret dinner destination was the '5 North Street' Michelin starred restaurant in Winchcombe.

It was fantastic! What a treat :)

I've never been to a Michelin restaurant before but can now certainly highly recommend this one. Food and service were superb and it was not nearly as expensive or 'posh' as you might think.
